Helping the World March - San Diego
Help make Video Messages for Peace & Nonviolence
Help on a Video Message Team -- it’s inspiring to hear what people have to say. We need “person-to-person” help to reach out to different cultures and languages, help interview people, etc. and technical help (filming and editing videos, website, etc.)
We also need people with computer skills to help put together the Google Map showing the locations all the videos in our “Put Yourself on the Map” effort to build a chain of SpeakOut Messages covering the whole route of the march, creating a living consensus where peace and nonviolence become what is normal.

Become a Marcher
Some people will accompany the march all around the world. Others will accompany part of the way. And some of us will march right here in San Diego, crossing the border to meet up with marchers in Tijuana.
Help Get the Word Out
The march will have greater impact the more people it reaches who are yearning for an end to the violence. Tell your family, friends, neighbors, co-workers, fellow students about the march. We especially want to include all cultures, races, with residents and immigrants alike.
Add Your Name to the Supporters List
Add your name, or the name of your organization to the growing list of international supporters of the march at www.worldmarch.info. If you’re in the San Diego area, send us an e-mail of support.
Help Organize other Initiatives in San Diego for the World March
All individuals and organizations are invited to organize initiatives for the World March -- the March is for everyone as we unite to have the strongest voice possible.
The ‘backbone’ of the march will be the route through 90+ countries, but the heart and body will be thousands of local initiatives at each point along the way. These initiatives will vary (some large like a concert with thousands of people, a university symposium on economic violence, a community forum on discrimination against immigrants, a theater or dance that expresses the aspiration for a violence-free future, seminars with school children on conflict resolution, a neighborhood potluck for peace, etc.).
